Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  It's been a couple of weeks since I've done one of these.  I have been busier than ever lately, and I am ready for things to slow back down to my normal speed.  I'm linking up with Momfessionals for this post.

I mentioned our camping trip we took last weekend?  Well, this picture is my favorite picture ever of my husband.  I love his smile and the laugh I can hear as I look at this.  And I think Carson deserves a moment of awe.  He is the sweetest little thing ever and I'm having withdrawals from him after holding him anytime I wanted to all weekend.

Also?  Toddley is my favorite.  I am ever so thankful for him.

Drewby loved Carson as well and on this afternoon rocked him until his little eyelids became heavy and he slept for about an hour on him.

Sigh.  Drewby LOVES kids and kids love Drewby.  I can totally see him being a pediatrician someday.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend.

This one's a favorite too, the way that Ruby Claire looked up with her soulful little eyes at Jonah.

That whole weekend was a favorite from the week, it was so relaxing and fun once we got there.

I confess that I have needed some peace this week, and this was on my Timehop the other day.  I love this quote from my favorite Bible study ever, The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer.

My second favorite month is upon us!  December takes first place.  I'm still writing away, and by the end of this month, I will have been at this for a whole year.  I have a GIANT notebook filled with all the pages that I've written out.

It's my favorite past time still.

Another favorite way to study lately has been with the Good Morning Girls.  We've been reading through Judges.

I love the new Washi tape I got recently.  It makes journaling more fun and pretty.

I spent Wednesday morning with my sweet mom and then later on landed on the couch inside the church doors.  I was having a moment when I took this picture, and I was thanking God for putting us at this beloved church home.  These are my people, y'all, and I cannot imagine walking through life without them at my side.  And my pastor?  He is my favorite ever of all time.

Just last night, I posted his sermon from last Sunday (on Facebook) because we missed.  I listened and took notes and it was so good.  If you have some time, go find me on FB and listen for yourself.

These presidential candidates are NOT my favorite, but I exercised this privilege yesterday.  VOTE, people, and let your voice be heard.  More than that, though?  Pray.

I love this mug.  I spent all day yesterday with my in-love's at their house.  My dryer hit the dust this week and I spent the day drying clothes and folding, but I enjoyed sweet fellowship with my mom-in-love.  I am so thankful for Godly parents!  I have three blessed sets.

My favorite verse this week has been from Romans 2:4.

"Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to your repentance?"

I have heard this verse at least four different times in the last seven days, and I figure God is trying to show me something through it.  His kindness is a beautiful attribute, and I am constantly in awe of Him.

Love to all.

Your Bible journalling is beautiful! I have a notebook I use to write out verses and doodle and record prayers and it's always interesting to look back through the pages and see what I was feeling or thinking about on that particular day. I'm Canadian and watching the election has been nothing short of terrifying, I typically don't do a lot of praying for the US but I have been these days. That giraffe mug is adorable!

Can you tell me more about your bible journaling?

Donna and Nina~thanks for stopping by and reading my blog! And for the comment love. :)

Donna, thank you so much for praying for our country. I have been too, and am considering praying and fasting all day Monday because of our upcoming election. I agree about journaling, I always love looking back. It is faith building!

Nina~I recently started studying Judges with Women Living Well and Good Morning Girls. Google either of those, and you will find them. I am currently using a spiral notebook, but I also use journals and art notebooks and plain ole copy paper. I love to write and doodle and study the Word of God, so I kind of just tie all those together. I post all the time about all of that on Instagram. My username is allfiveboys. Find me and follow me or request my friendship on Facebook. I'm on there a lot, too.

I do have a journaling Bible, but I don't use it much. My preference is to use my everyday Bible to write in, highlight in, make notes in and pray with. I write all over all the pages. My hope is that someday my four boys will each have one that I've written in.

I hope that helped! God bless.
