Thankfulness

Can I just say that I have the greatest friends in all of the earth?  I love you all so much.  And not just "friends", but FAMILY.  You all mean the world to me, and I would be so sad if I did not have you in my life.  I have prayed for you all continually, and one thing I have prayed is that God would use me somehow through this crazy blog.  And you know what?  I think He has.  I have made friends that I may not know this side of heaven, and I have been re~acquainted with old friends.  I just wanted to say that I love you and that I thank God for all of you.  My family AND my friends.

Psalm 146:1 Praise the Lord!  Let all that I am praise the LORD. 2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live.  I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath. 3 Don't put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. 4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. 5 But joyfufl are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. 6 He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them.  He keeps every promise forever. 7 He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry.  The LORD frees the prisoners. 8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind.  The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down.  The LORD loves the godly. 9 The LORD protects the foreigners among us.  He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. 10 The LORD will reign forever.  He will be your God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations.

I thought of the presidential debate I watched tonight as I read this.  Actually, I read this this morning, and thought of it then.  No matter what...we are to put our hope and our trust in God, not man.

And now for a little acronym...my pastor always makes these, and I thought I'd give it a whirl.

I know, I know, it's corny, but hey.  It's only 10:30 at night, and the whole fam is fast asleep upstairs.  I am trying to read the last Baxter Series book by Karen Kingsbury SLOWLY.  I don't want the series to end, so I'm forcing myself to read this one slowly.  As opposed to reading it in one day.  Yup, I said it.  And yeah, I have that kind of time to read.  People should ALWAYS make time for reading!

Well, speaking of my book....I'm going to go read my book.  Thanks to all you listening ears out there....or reading eyes, I should say, for listening to me vent about my day.  Have no fear: I do not dread tomorrow.  Even if it was a little rough today, tomorrow is always a new day, and I will rejoice in it!!!  Love!!!!  And yes, I know this was totally random.  I'm babbling now.  Good night.

Thank you for all the sweet things you say. I am so blessed to have you as FAMILY!! I don't know what I would do without you and you even made my life much better by increasing my family with my wonderful precious grandsons! I am also so proud of you using the beautiful talent God blessed you with. My heart was pounding and my head swelling when you did such a fantastic job Sunday night. I love you. By the way, I have a surprise for you.
Bunches of love.
